Volunteers at Elizabethtown Community Hospital compliment the services of the Hospital by performing a variety of assignments in a number of departments including:
- Radiology
- Laboratory
- Business Office
- VA Clinic
- Elizabethtown Community Health Center and Westport Health Center
- Reception
- Medical Records
- Inpatient Nursing Unit and Recreational Therapy
Volunteer opportunities range from answering phones, filing and shredding to visiting with patients and helping the nursing staff. Volunteers may also choose to be part of the Auxiliary and work on special projects and fundraisers throughout the year to benefit the Hospital.
In 2007, ECH volunteers and Auxiliary members gave a total of over 3,000 hours of service to our Hospital. Way to go!
