New Primary Care Center Coming to Ticonderoga
The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital is expanding its Ticonderoga Campus to include a new federally qualified health center, operated by Hudson Headwaters Health Network.
The Ticonderoga Campus, which includes a state-of-the-art emergency department, laboratory, imaging and outpatient specialty services, is a fully-integrated medical village serving the health care needs of the Ticonderoga community in one convenient location. A construction project began in June, 2019 to enhance pedestriant access and safety along the entrance road at The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital Ticonderoga Campus.
The hospital's Wicker Street entrance reopened on November 8, 2019, after a temporary closure for the roadway project. The next phase of the project, expected to begin in spring 2020, will include the installation of new sidewalks, lighting, and landscaping along the rerouted roadway.
