The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital Ticonderoga Campus, which includes a state-of-the-art emergency department, laboratory, imaging and outpatient specialty services, is a fully-integrated medical village serving the health care needs of the Ticonderoga community in one convenient location.
Notice something different about the Ticonderoga Campus lately? Work is currently underway on the roadway and on a new primary care center.
Construction began in June, 2019 to enhance pedestrian access and safety along the entrance road at the Ticonderoga Campus. The road will be resurfaced and sidewalks, lighting and landscaping will be upgraded. The roadway project is slated for completion byDecember, 2019.
At this time, roadway construction requires the closure of the Wicker Street entrance and access to the hospital is via the Hague Road. Find more information on the roadway project.
A second project is underway to expand the Ticonderoga Campus to include a new federally qualified health center, operated by Hudson Headwaters Health Network. The new primary care center will offer a patient-centered design, 14 exam rooms, and consultation rooms for behavioral health and telemedicine. The UVM Health Network and Hudson Headwaters have also partnered to expand primary care in Clinton County, at the Champlain and Plattsburgh Family Health Centers.
