Paramedic Program

University of Vermont Health Network- Elizabethtown Community Hospital's Paramedic Program launched its first classs in 2018.  It is an intensive program blending an on-line learning environment, classroom sessions, lab sessions, and clinical experiences.  Once complete with the course, students will qualify to take certification exams and become a member of the overall healthcare team.

Mission, Vision, and Values

Mission- Elizabethtown Community Hospital’s Paramedic Education program’s purpose is to
prepare entry level Paramedics whom are capable of providing comprehensive,
compassionate, and efficient emergency care, to serve in career and volunteer positions in
the Mountain Lakes EMS region and surrounding areas.
Vision- To be the premier provider of Paramedic education in northern New York and become a
model for other rural education programs.
Values- Elizabethtown Community Hospital recognizes the following core values: Teamwork,
